Chris Bush BA FCA – Managing Director

Originally from the Wirral and moved to the Salisbury area over 25 years ago. Chris has worked for 3 of the top Accountancy firms before merging with Berkeley Bate in 2011. Specialises in owner managed businesses, tax and strategic planning. Is married to Janet and has three children. Enjoys organizing charity events, especially James Bond premieres. Allows himself one round of golf per annum, but as many skiing trips as possible.

Janet Bush – Practice Manager

Qualified as a Private Secretary after a career in insurance. Has experience of running her own business so appreciates what a great accountancy service should deliver. Married to Chris and in addition to their 3 children looks after 2 dogs, various horses and ponies. Enjoys cooking reading travelling and sporadic bursts of keep fit.

Laura Bush - (BSc Hons) ACA – Senior Accounts Manager

Joined the firm in 2013, has since become both AAT and ACA qualified and is Senior Accounts Manager for the practice. She loves horses, baking and fund raising by walking marathons.

Tracy Lodder – Accounts, Bookkeeping and Payroll Co-ordinator

Joined the firm in 2017. Her role covers payroll, accounts preparation, VAT returns and bookkeeping. She is Xero certified and can expertly answer queries on its use by clients. Spends her spare time mainly with her family.

Emma Dench – Bookkeeping and Accounts Assistant

Joined Berkeley Bate Ltd in 2020 and has worked in the accountancy industry for over 25 years. Her role covers bookkeeping, VAT returns, accounts preparation and training to clients. She is Xero certified and often trains clients in its use. Her spare time is spent looking after her family and enjoying holidays exploring new countries and cultures.

Emma Cracknell – Practice Administrator

Started working at Berkeley Bate in March 2023 in her role as Administrator. She enjoys family games nights and meals and spends most weekend mornings on the side lines of a football pitch watching her daughters play. In her spare time she enjoys yoga and planning the next sunny holiday.
